Dirt Roll III - A ride to ensure that kids have safe roads and great trails
The fundriasing event is a No Drop Ride open to bicyclists of all skill levels!
MCBC and NorCal are proud to announce that Mark Weir will lead Dirt Roll III this Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, 2012. Mark is one of the most accomplished mountain bikers around and he lives right here in Marin! When he’s not winning XC and downhill races like the Downieville Classic, he's riding his backyard pump track or spending time with his son, Gustin ‘Gus’ Bradley Weir. He is a key supporter of the Stafford Lake Bike Park. Mark is sponsored by WTB, Cannondale and Fox Racing Shox.
Come ride with the best cyclists at a pace that lets you talk to the pros. The annual fundraiser benefits MCBC and the NorCal High School Cycling League. This year we’ll be starting from Fair-Anselm Plaza in Fairfax, and we’ll have a post-ride BBQ in the courtyard below the MCBC office.
This year the base fee for the ride is just $50. Those who wish to raise additional funds to support MCBC and NorCal can do so and will be entered in a drawing for super prizes, including a shock and wheelset.
Sign-in and Breakfast at 9 am, ride rolls at 10 am sharp!
